Savings tips for Loka
- Start with the biggest saving first — the top Loka offer on this page is worth 40%. If checkout rejects it, work down the list; a smaller code that applies beats a bigger one that doesn't.

Loka Chai Maker: Authentic Chai Brewing at Home
Loka makes brewing traditional chai accessible with their engineered chai makers and curated masala blends. Founded by two friends who wanted to simplify the chai-making process, the brand combines thoughtful design with quality ingredients.
Who Should Shop at Loka
Loka appeals to chai enthusiasts and home brewers who value convenience without sacrificing authenticity. If you enjoy traditional chai but find the conventional brewing method tedious, Loka's engineered approach solves that pain point. The brand resonates with people who appreciate design-forward kitchen tools and want to explore subscription-based spice blends tailored for consistency. Their product range also suits gift-givers looking for unique homeware that combines functionality with cultural appreciation. Customers who are curious about masala chai but unsure where to start will find Loka's curated blends and brewing systems a welcoming entry point. The team's multi-cultural background and commitment to innovation suggest a brand that understands both the craft and the modern lifestyle of its audience.
What Loka Actually Offers
Loka's primary focus is the Chai Maker—an engineered device designed to simplify authentic chai brewing at home. Paired with this is their Masala Chai Blend, available on subscription for convenience and consistency. The brand also stocks Chai Stainers to complement the brewing experience, Journals for enthusiasts who want to document their chai journey, and a Hidden product line that suggests limited or surprise offerings. The product feed reveals a lean, focused inventory: each category contains just one or two core items, which reflects a deliberate curation strategy rather than a sprawling catalog. This focused approach means customers are working with the brand's proven, tested solutions. The three-year development process mentioned in their founding story—involving thousands of cups tested and refined—indicates substantial product refinement behind what reaches the shelf.
Price Range and Discount Availability
Loka's products span from GBP 10 to GBP 200 across their current catalog, allowing entry at multiple price points. Entry-level items like certain blends or stainers sit at the lower end, while full chai-making systems command premium pricing reflecting their engineered design and development investment. The brand regularly offers discounts, with promotions ranging up to 40% off sitewide during limited-time events. First-time customers receive 10% off their initial order as a standard welcome incentive. Additional savings are available through student discounts, member programs, and category-specific deals on new arrivals, best sellers, and clearance items. Subscription options for the Masala Chai Blend may provide value for regular users, though subscription pricing specifics are not detailed on their public product feed. For budget-conscious shoppers, clearance and sale sections typically feature reduced inventory, while higher-value orders over GBP 50 occasionally qualify for additional percentage discounts.
Before You Order: What to Verify
Check whether a subscription model for the Masala Chai Blend aligns with your consumption habits and storage capacity, since recurring deliveries suit regular chai drinkers but may overwhelm occasional users. Review the Chai Maker specifications carefully to ensure it fits your kitchen counter space and integrates with your existing brewing routine—the engineered design solves the original problem the founders faced, but fit and workflow vary by household. Confirm which discounts apply to your purchase by reviewing current promotions on their site, as offers rotate and stack rules may differ. The Hidden product line has limited visibility in their product feed, so check the full store directly if you're interested in exclusive or surprise items. International shipping policies and delivery times are not detailed in their public materials, so clarify these before checkout if you're ordering outside the UK. Lastly, since the brand emphasizes design heritage through partnerships with Pentagram, consider whether you value that design-forward approach enough to justify premium pricing versus mass-market alternatives.
